This document describes what data of yours we store with regard to the BPM-conference mailing list and for which purpose we use it. Please also consult the privacy policy for the website https://bpm-conference.org available here.

Purpose of the mailing list

The purpose of the BPM-conference mailing list is to disseminate information about the BPM conference series (e.g. call for papers, journal invitations) and news from the BPM community. All postings are strictly moderated and forwarded only if they are deemed relevant for subscribers. The frequency of postings is under 10 postings per year.

What data is stored and how is it used?

When you subscribe to the BPM-conference mailing list we will store your email address and name, solely for the purpose to forward to you information as described in the last section.

Your data is not shared with third parties and not viewable by other subscribers.

If you post a message to the mailing list, the content and meta-data of your message are stored as well. This data is stored until approval of your posting by our moderators. In case your post is accepted, it will be forwarded to all subscribers of the mailing list and archived on the mailing list website (accessible only by other list members).

How to delete your data

If you want us to delete the data we store about you it is sufficient to unsubscribe from the mailing list. You can do this by either (1) visiting the website https://lists.hpi.uni-potsdam.de/listinfo/bpm-conference and entering the email address, with which you are subscribed, or (2) sending an email to bpm-conference-unsubscribe@hpi.uni-potsdam.de with the subject “Unsubscribe”.

Postings you made to the mailing list that were approved and forwarded to other subscribers technically cannot be deleted.
